Craig Regional Park is a beautiful course. The course runs by a lake, across bridges and provides lots of places for spectators to view the race.
WHAT YOUR ATHLETE SHOULD BRING TO THE RACE
1. Wear the uniform
3. Light snacks
4. Warm-up shoes / Running shoes
5. Racing flats (if you have them)
6. It can be cool in the morning, so a light jacket and light pants
The bus leaves CDM at 6:15 am Saturday morning from the Bus Turnaround.
The bus turnaround is on Mar Vista Dr. behind the 300 building (see image below)
The bus will return to school after the last race.
PARKING @ CRAIG PARK
$5 per car
Parking is extremely LIMITED inside the park.
There is street parking available on Associated Rd. but you cannot block entrances to the park or surrounding streets.
There will be strict on-site enforcement.
We recommend carpooling or arriving early.
RACE SCHEDULE (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
**If you do not take the bus, athletes must be at the team tent 90 minutes before your race time.
SENIOR GIRLS – 8:00 am (7:00 arrival)
SENIOR BOYS – 8:30 am (7:00 arrival)
FROSH GIRLS – 9:00 am (7:30 arrival)
FROSH BOYS – 9:30 am ( 8:00 arrival)
JUNIOR GIRLS – 10:00 am (8:30 arrival)
JUNIOR BOYS – 10:30 am (9:00 arrival)
SOPH GIRLS – 11:00 am (9:30 arrival)
SOPH BOYS – 11:30 am (10:00 arrival)
AWARDS CEREMONY – 12:15 pm
The top 50 finishers in each race will receive a medal and the top 3 teams in each race will receive a team plaque. Awards will be given for fastest female and male runner and to the top 2 teams of the day at the end of the meet.
